Andrew Ingledow, a 22-year-old British biochemists, says an orangutan has got eyes for his girlfriend.

He says the 16-year-old ape, named Ramon, blows kisses and tries to stroke her photographer girlfriend Hollie Gordon’s face every time the pair visit the Blackpool Zoo.

Gordon told Metro daily that she regularly visits the zoo to take photograph of the animals. 

The young woman said she unexpectedly had noticed that Ramon had started recognizing her. Whenever she appeared, the orangutan was squeezing itself to the bars of its cage, it was always smiling, and looking her in the eye.

In Gordon’s words, this situation had started to bother her boyfriend. 

At any rate, as per Hollie Gordon, since the ape has never tried to touch her, the young Brit has no reason to worry.
