YEREVAN. - Armenfilm film studio will be renationalized, Armen Sahakyan, Head of the Armenian Government adjunct State Property Management Department said at the government session today.
The decision was adopted after the statement of the studio's private owner in March 2015.
The studio, which is associated with favorite films shot in Soviet Armenia, was privatized by Armenia Studios in 2005.
According to the explanatory note of the Government, part of the theatrical decorations and stage properties at the studio is seriously damaged, the other part actually lacking.
The Government will shortly determine the form of the film studio management.
