YEREVAN. - Armenian Government will expand the scheme of consumer loans available to military and other law enforcement officers, according to the decision adopted by the Armenian Government today.

The loans in the amount of 1 million AMD (approx. $2,07 thousand) will extend to the commissioned staff of Armenia’s Ministry of Defense, National Security Service and Police on favorable conditions. Contract soldiers and warrant officers of the Defense Ministry, National Security Service and junior police ranks will have access to loans in the amount of 500,000 AMD.  

These groups of national security agencies will be able to receive loans for household appliances for the period of 7 years by 12% per annum, out of which 2 percentage points will be subsidized by the Government.
