STEPANAKERT. – As part of his working trip to Karabakh, Armenia’s President Sezh Sargsyan is attending the events commemorating the 24th anniversary of Karabakh independence, as reported by Public Relations and Information Department of Armenian President’s Office.  

In this framework, Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan and Karabakh President Bako Sahakyan today attended the staging of Giuseppe Verdi’s "Requiem" opera held at the Stepanakert Revival Square.

President Sahakyan noted with satisfaction that staging of various operas featuring renowned stars has become a good tradition in our republic, showing that Karabakh has tuned into one of the most significant regional cultural centers.

The event was also attended by the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Karabakh National Assembly Chairman Ashot Ghoulyan, PM Arayik Haroutyunyan, dignitaries from Karabakh and Armenia, as well as representatives of the Diaspora and foreign guests.
