YEREVAN. – The Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia, Armen Yeritsyan, convened an emergency meeting on Wednesday at 7:50am.

The United Nations’ (UN) International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) qualification training for the country’s urban search and rescue team will be getting underway.

This training will enable Armenia to have top-quality rescue teams that meet international standards, and for the country to become the 33rd member of INSARAG.

At the meeting, Yeritsyan was presented the situation in the country that was “affected” within the framework of the aforementioned qualification training.
