YEREVAN. – The American dollar (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 484.40/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday; this is up by AMD 1.38 from Tuesday.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 545.58 (up by AMD 1.75), that of one British pound was AMD 739.92 (down by AMD 1.66), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.23 (down by AMD 0.20), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.
One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 228.62, AMD 17,789.97 and AMD 15,651.69, respectively.
Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 5,150,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 486.04/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 486/$1.
