YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan chaired 13th meeting of the Coordination Council for Inspectorate Reforms of Armenia.

The council discussed and approved the matter of setting up an inspectorate that will oversee the country’s market, and also approved the charter and makeup of this inspectorate.

It was reported that this new inspectorate will have a new system of management, new guidelines, and a new approach toward public awareness.

Abrahamyan, for his part, underscored the ongoing inspectorate reforms in Armenia.

As per the PM, the new said inspectorate will be the first inspection and pilot agency within the framework of setting up inspectorates more smoothly in Armenia.

In Hovik Abrahamyan’s words, as a further step for reforms in this domain, it is planned to soon set up inspectorates also at the Ministries of Finance and Health, and based on their own inspectorates.
