YEREVAN. - Russian Aviation Base of the Southern Military District (SMD), located in Armenia, has launched a high-altitude flight training for young pilots in Armenia’s Erebuni Airdrome.
Before the commencement of the flights in the mountainous area, the pilots have passed trainings in Russian military airdromes of SMD, as reported by SMD press-service. Overall, they have flown MiG-29 4th generation destroyers for about 100 hours during the current year.
The young pilots will for the first time fly on their own the fighter aircraft above the Armenian sky.
