A vehicle driven by Zakar Sahakyan, 39, a resident of Tsakhkashen village in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia, went off road, crashed into a large tree, and went onto the opposite lane on Tuesday at around 11:30pm.
As a result of the accident, the driver’s 15-year-old daughter died on the spot, whereas her father sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Sahakyan has been transferred to the intensive care unit at ARMENIA Republican Medical Center, in capital city Yerevan, where Armenian News-NEWS.am was told that the patient is in critical condition, he is unconscious, and hooked up to an artificial respiration apparatus.
