YEREVAN. – The First Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia, Davit Tonoyan, met with Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Chairman-in-Office, on Wednesday evening.

The interlocutors discussed the situation in recent days on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and the Karabakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact. 

Tonoyan also presented Kasprzyk the details of the incidents occurring at the contact line.

The Armenian deputy defense minister and the OSCE official expressed concern by the frequent violation of ceasefire and the use of large-caliber weapons during these breaches of the truce.

Davit Tonoyan also informed Andrzej Kasprzyk about the Shant (Lightning) 2015 strategic command and staff military exercises to be held from Thursday to Sunday, and their objective and framework.
