According to the recent estimates of the scientists, war for potable water may break out in the Middle East in the near future. The specialists are sure that the severe shortage of potable water will be strongly felt in already quarter of a century. 

13 Middle East states already experience this problem, but the situation may soon get more critical. Currently, especially tight situation is observed in Egypt, where over 80 million people cannot ensure themselves with water resources. The entire problem is that River Nile cannot provide sufficient amount of water for the needs of the population. Shortage of water is especially significant in small villages, where the local residents aren’t able to grow their harvest and keep cattle, Planet-today reports. 

Scientists think there is a way out of the situation. According to them, to avoid the war, it is necessary to create technologies which will process waste water.
