On August 24, Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus Kirill I, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Allahshukur Hummat Pashazade will meet in Moscow, 1news.az reports.

According to Allahshukur Pashazade, the recent developments in the CIS states will be the focus at the meeting. The possible mediation by Kirill I in returning the body of the Azerbaijani soldier Mubariz Ibrahimov will also be discussed.  According to him, trilateral consultations will be held on the matter.

As NEWS.am reported previously, on June 19, an Azeri task force intruded into the Nagorno-Karabakh territory. A resultant encounter killed four Armenian soldiers, leaving four injured. The Azeri task force retreated, leaving one dead- Mubariz Ibrahimov.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree, awarding Mubariz Ibrahimov (posthumously) the title of a National hero of Azerbaijan.
