YEREVAN. – OSCE is confident that it is Azerbaijani side that is heating up tensions on the border by violating ceasefire regime and openly carrying out anti-Armenian propaganda, MP Artak Zakaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am commenting on the OSCE statement.

One may not agree with the statement drawn up within the framework of a diplomatic vocabulary, but it is obvious that Azerbaijan constantly hampers the Minsk process, said Azakryan, chairman of Armenian parliament's standing committee on foreign affairs.

“At the same time, the OSCE as a mediator, taking into consideration further success of the negotiation process, has to use diplomatic language to keep the parties in the peace process, and in this sense their approach is clear,” Zakaryan added.

According to the MP, we should unequivocally agree with that statement by Co-Chairs that the time has come to apply the mechanism to investigate all ceasefire violation cases.

“Azerbaijan always interferes with the implementation of these mechanisms and occasionally abandons them,” he emphasized.
