Armenia has climbed from 85th to 82nd place in the Global Competitiveness Index rankings. 

The aforesaid is noted in the Global Competitiveness Report 2015-2016 by the World Economic Forum.

Accordingly, Switzerland, Singapore, and the United States remain in the top three.

Russia has jumped to 45th from 53rd place.

Azerbaijan, however, has lost 2 points and is in 40th place. 

Turkey likewise has gone down in the rankings.

Georgia ranks 66th on the list.

The last two countries in these rankings are Chad (139th) and Guinea (140th).
