YEREVAN. – The Minister of Defense of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan, on Wednesday received Kazakh Chargé d’Affaires Kanat Khassenov, and in connection with the accreditation of Kazakhstan’s newly appointed Military Attaché to Armenia, Colonel Kenzhebek Orimbaev.

The minister congratulated Colonel Orimbaev, wished him success in his accountable mission, and expressed the hope for collaboration in the strengthening of Armenian-Kazakh relations, and further development of these ties in the defense sector.

At the ensuing talk, Ohanyan briefed the guests on the current situation at the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border, and the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, and the developments in recent days.
