President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the process and terms of business trips of federal state civil servants, restricting their flights by foreign airplanes.

According to the decree, the airplane ticket to the destination of the business trip, as well as the return ticket must be registered only with Russian airline companies or those of other EEU member-states.

Exceptions can be made if the mentioned airline companies do not carry out passenger transportation to the destination of the business trip or when the formulation (acquisition) of transportation documents (tickets) from these airline companies is impossible given their absence during the entire period of the business trip.

The document comes into force from the date of its signing, Interfax reports.

The EEU includes Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
