YEREVAN. - A seven-day campaign titled “Let’s support frontier soldiers and villagers” kicked off today in Yerevan’s Northern Avenue. During the event, the citizens placed clothes, sweets, cigarettes and hygiene products in the boxes designed for residents of border villages and servicemen.  

“We’re planning to take everything that will be collected here during the coming seven days to one of the border villages. We’ll give the clothes to the villagers, and the sweets and cigarettes to the soldiers. The latter will be pleasantly surprised to find sweets in their plates when they come to the cafeteria, Arman Andreasyan, the organizer of the campaign and founder of “Menk” youth initiative told Armenian News – NEWS.am.   

The campaign will last till October 7.
