The Armenian man stabbed in Glendale Monday morning died in the hospital two days later.
Sunland resident Minas Arutyunyan, 30, was attacked by Glendale resident Alex Littlejohn, 57, Burbank Leader reports.
Arutyunyan was stabbed several times but was able to fight back and kill Littlejohn.
According to the Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot, following the incident Arutyunyan reached Glendale police station and asked dispatchers for help.
Police and paramedics found him by the police station “lying on the ground in a pool of blood.”
Littlejohn’s corpse was found near the courthouse. A knife was also recovered in the crime scene.
Minas Arutyunyan was transported to the hospital, where the doctors didn’t manage to save his life. He died there two days later.
The cause of death remains unknown. Investigation is underway.
