The pro-Kurdish “Peoples’ Democratic Party” (HDP) of Turkey has introduced its parliamentary election platform, which also includes Armenian Genocide recognition by the state.

HDP Co-Chair Figen Yüksekdağ introduced the party’s election platform, and announced that they will carry out activities to ensure that the Turkish state recognizes and apologizes for the genocides and massacres that were committed, informed the Haber7 website of Turkey.

“We will lift the blockade imposed on Armenia,” added the HDP co-chair. “We will accelerate economic, political and diplomatic relations with Armenia, and build bridges of friendship with the Armenian people.”

The early parliamentary election in Turkey is slated for November 1.
