Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated People’s Artist of the USSR, Armenian renowned theatre and film actor and director Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, on the occasion of his 80th birth anniversary.

RIA Novosti news agency of Russia reported the aforementioned citing the Kremlin press service.

“You rightfully belong among the ranks of the outstanding recognized figures of national culture,” Putin specifically noted, his press service informed.

Dzhigarkhanyan was born on October 3, 1935 in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, and he has played more than 250 roles.
