YEREVAN. – The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group co-chairs’ reaction to the border tensions is normal.

Khosrov Harutyunyan, a member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia National Assembly (RPA NA) Faction, noted the abovementioned at a press conference on Saturday.

“A mediator’s role is to be as impartial as possible,” said Harutyunyan. “If they start to be biased to some extent, they will cease to be a mediator. They speak very specifically behind the scenes, but publicly, they are more impartial in their statements.”

In the RPA NA Faction MP’s words, Armenia has never initiated an exacerbation of the situation in the region. And the subtext of President Serzh Sargsyan’s address at the recent 70th session of the UN General Assembly is that he puts upon Azerbaijan all accountability for the future developments, since these developments also threaten regional stability.
