James Cromwell and Jean Reno are actors involved in the Armenian Genocide-themed film, “The Promise,” which is produced by Survival Pictures, a company unveiled this summer by the late Kirk Kerkorian’s Tracinda Corporation, Asbarez reported quoting the Variety.

Survival Pictures had announced earlier that Issac will be joined by Academy Award winner Christian Bale as the leads.

Cromwell will play an American ambassador who becomes heroic when challenged, while Reno will play a French admiral deeply conflicted in the face of life-threatening danger, according to Variety.

Shooting has started in Spain and Portugal.
