Armenia participated in the 91st annual international trade fair that was held from September 25 to October 5 in Marseille.

An Armenian pavilion was organized by Armenia's Consulate in Marseille, Armenian culture and youth center and French-Armenian trade and commerce chamber.

The pavilion presented over three dozens of books in different languages dedicated to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide. Goods produced in Armenia, including food stuff and souvenirs, were presented in the pavilion.

Deputies of the French and EU parliaments, local officials, Armenia’s Consul, representatives of the Armenian community, journalists participated in the events on October 2 that was announced “Official Day of Armenia”.

Addressing the participants Armenia’s Consul Samvel Lalayan thanked organizers and expressed hope that the fair will open up new opportunities for the development of economic and cultural relations between Armenia and France.
