YEREVAN. - With the arrival of the menu.ge project to the Georgian market, the local market of online orders from restaurants has significantly developed, the founder and project manager of menu.am и menu.ge Vahan Kerobyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am at the DigiTec high-tech exhibition in Yerevan.

“Armenian and Georgian markets are quite different, but we’re growing both here and there. The idea of delivering at door wasn’t very popular in Georgia, but we began developing it. Now more people are learning about it and they like the idea. By the way, we also have a competitor there, an international company, but it doesn’t manage to compete [with us],” Kerobyan said.

The service is also gaining popularity in Armenia, including due to the expansion of the Internet, he said.

“People, who never used Internet, now have it on their mobiles. Use of online services is growing parallel with that,” Kerobyan said.

The organizer of the annual DigiTec exhibition is the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE).
