YEREVAN. – The United Kingdom’s (UK)new Ambassador to Armenia, Judith Farnworth, on Monday presented a copy of her credentials to Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian.

First, Nalbandian congratulated the ambassador on her appointment and wished her success in her mission. He also expressed the hope that Farnworth will greatly contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations and the broadening of collaboration, informed the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

The diplomat, for her part, assured that she will do her utmost to make Armenian-British ties grow deeper.

At the ensuing talk, the interlocutors exchanged views on the matters that are on the bilateral agenda.

In addition, FM Nalbandian and Ambassador Farnworth reflected on Armenia-European Union cooperation, and the activities toward the creation of a new respective legal basis.

They also exchanged views on several regional and international issues and the ongoing efforts to resolve them.
