The 31st meeting of the Ministerial Conference of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) will be convened on Saturday and Sunday in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

Respective invitations have been sent to the foreign ministers of the eighty OIF member and observer countries from five continents.

Around five hundred representatives from the OIF member states and its Secretariat will arrive in Yerevan to attend this event.

The main cultural event of the 31st meeting of the OIF Ministerial Conference will be Saturday’s concert by world-renowned French Armenian singer, songwriter, actor, public activist, and diplomat Charles Aznavour.

In addition, music bands from France and Haiti are scheduled to perform in Yerevan and in Gyumri city.

Furthermore, exhibitions on Armenian tourism, high technology, manufactured products, and culture are planned to be organized within the framework of this event.

The convention will be followed by an official visit to Armenia by OIF Secretary-General Michaëlle Jean.
