YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received information on Monday at 6:21pm.

Accordingly, A. H., 64, had fallen from a walnut tree in the valley nearby Bardzravan village in the Syunik Province, and died on the spot.

The village prefect informed, however, that the aforesaid area is difficult to reach and the weather was unfavorable for bringing the dead body out of the gorge, and therefore the police were to arrive at the scene on early Tuesday morning.

Two police officers, however, were to patrol the area nearby the incident and watch over the corpse throughout the night.

A fire and rescue squad from Goris town was dispatched to the area on Tuesday at 5:40am, to bring A. H.’s body out of the valley.
