YEREVAN. – Mechanisms need to be developed so that the Armenian specialists return to Armenia after obtaining relevant qualifications in Germany, and contribute their expertise to the homeland.

Secretary General of the VolkswagenStiftung (Volkswagen Foundation), Wilhelm Krull, stated the aforementioned at Tuesday’s talk with President of the State Committee of Science (SCS) of Armenia, Samvel Harutyunyan.

The VolkswagenStiftung delegation is in capital city Yerevan along the lines of the Armenian-German Science Day events.

Harutyunyan, for his part, noted that Armenia stresses the importance of cooperation with international organizations in the domain of science.

He also informed the guests about the SCS activities toward international collaboration, and the potential domains of cooperation with the VolkswagenStiftung.

Krull, in turn, noted that the German foundation stands ready to discuss some respective programs on location.
