YEREVAN. – The Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, on Tuesday received newly appointed Belarusian Ambassador Igor Nazaruk.

The PM congratulated Nazaruk on his appointment, and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Armenia, the Press Office of the Government of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Abrahamyan also highly praised Armenian-Belarusian state relations, and expressed a conviction that Ambassador Nazaruk will contribute to further strengthening and deepening of bilateral cooperation.

The Belarusian diplomat, for his part, assured that he will make every effort—during his tenure—to make collaboration grow deeper and strengthen bilateral ties further.

At the ensuing talk, the interlocutors exchanged views on the avenues for intensifying Armenian-Belarusian economic relations, and expanding cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
