YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 472.37/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday; this is down by AMD 1.08 from Tuesday.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 530.80 (down by AMD 0.03), that of one British pound was AMD 722.02 (up by AMD 3.89), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.59 (up by AMD 0.31), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.
In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 237.98, AMD 17,427.14 and AMD 14,139.14, respectively.
Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 2,320,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 472/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 472/$1.
