YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received information on Wednesday at 11:42pm.
Accordingly, the seismological network of the ministry’s “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency recorded a 2.1 -magnitude earthquake at 11:23pm local time, 19km south of Gavar town in the Gegharkunik Province.
The tremor measured magnitude 2-3 at the epicenter, and its hypocenter was 10km beneath the surface.
The seismic activity was felt magnitude 2-3 in Gavar and Martuni towns.
