YEREVAN. – Field assistants of the personal representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Irji Aberle, Khristo Khristov and Simon Tiller visited Berdavan village in Armenia’s Tavush region.

Two women were killed in the village on September 24 in shelling by Azerbaijani side, three people suffered wounds. The roofs of the houses, the buildings of cultural center, post office and music school were damaged.

The OSCE representatives accompanied by village head Ararat Gabrielyan visited the houses where civilians were killed and wounded. They also visited the damaged building of a cultural center. They could see at first hand that Tr-107 launchers were used during the shelling.

Earlier the village was visited by inspection group from France.

Three people were killed and four civilians were wounded during the shelling of Aygepar, Aygehovit, Berdavan villages by Azerbaijan on September 24.
