YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 474.38/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is up by AMD 0.39 from Monday.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 540.08 (up by AMD 0.54), that of one British pound was AMD 723.10 (down by AMD 4.71), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.56 (down by AMD 0.20), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.
In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 243.42, AMD 17,766.67 and AMD 15,144.91, respectively.
Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 200,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 474.5/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 474.5/$1.
