The mountain climber from Ukraine Sergey Kaifadjyan won the mountain top of 5250 meters in the Pamir Mountains and named the peak after the renowned Armenian-French singer Charles Aznavour, reported Yerkramas, newspaper of the Armenians of Russia.

Sergei Kaifadjyan placed the portrait of the renowned French chansonnier of Armenian origin on the 5250 meter-high peak, which has never been climbed on before.

Earlier Sergey Kaifadjyan had climbed another peak (5495 meters) in the Pamir Mountains and named it "Armenia."
