A 14-year-old Armenian teen was killed on the highway leading from the Syrian city of Al-Qamishli to Turkey.
Armen Avetisyan was shot dead while trying to move to Turkey together with his family, Armenian Diocese of Beroea reported.
Overall, 60-70 thousands Armenians were residing in Syria before the bloody events. More than half of them lived in Aleppo and the other half was scattered in the cities of Latakia, Homs, Al-Qamishli, Hasaka, Raqqah, Kessab and, of course, the capital - Damascus.
