YEREVAN. – A total of 54.4 percent of Armenia’s population wants the country to join Russia.

This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Gallup International Association Armenia Office. The opinion poll was conducted throughout the country, from September 10 through 21, and with 1,105 respondents.

In addition, 29.9 percent of the respondents stated that Armenia should not join any country, whereas 11.1 percent expressed a wish for Armenia to become a member in the European Union.
