Yerevan. – A Ukrainian citizen, who had brought around 3 kilograms of cocaine into Armenia, was detained at Zvartnots International Airport, in capital city Yerevan. 

The Police have confirmed this information to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Accordingly, after the arrival of the Dubai-Yerevan flight on Tuesday, the relevant authorities took a Ukrainian citizen to a police station.

She is Iliana Sheleveri, 42, seven plastic containers designed for liquid soap were found in her luggage, and cocaine packed in polyethylene bags was discovered in these containers.

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has launched a criminal case into this incident.
