Web-developer Svetlana Jaghatspanyan and programmer Aram Yeghiazaryan from Armenia’s city of Vanadzor came second in a youth innovation forum held in Moscow, being awarded second class diplomas.

They presented the IT and innovation sphere together with three other participants from Vanadzor.

During the forum, Svetlana presented energy-saving compressor, which she created on the basis of a patented Armenian model, considering the leading international practice.

“The compressor can be widely used especially in liquefied natural gas (LNG) filling stations, where it can not only save about 50% energy, but also benefit the stations due to the equipment’s incomparably low price and its maximal longevity,” the author told Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent.

Aram Yeghiazaryan presented an automated coordination module, which makes it possible to distance control any electrical equipment. The module can be used for determining the humidity and hazard level of different landslide sites. It can also be applied as a security system in pipelines and chemical industry.
