YEREVAN. - The discussion of a social issue cannot be shifted to a political platform, Naira Karapetyan, member of the Armenian Delegation to PACE and the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP said today, referring to the discussion on Karabakh-located Sarsang reservoir expected to be held on November 23 at the session of the PACE Committee on Social Affairs.

Apart from the extremely one-sided report entitled “Escalation of Violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and Other Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan” by the British MP Robert Walter, the report of the Bosnian PACE MP Milica Marković on Sarsang reservoir may also be discussed at PACE’s winter session in January 2016.

The title of the aforementioned report – “The border regions of Azerbaijan are intentionally deprived of water”- is rather subjective.
