A fire at a coalmine in China’s north-eastern province of Heilongjiang killed at least 21 people, Xinhua state media reported.
A total of 38 miners were working there when the fire broke out.
Rescue workers arrived at the scene.
The fire was localized, a local government representative said, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
