The Kotayk provincial department of the Police of Armenia had received a report on Thursday.
Accordingly, an unidentified driver had hit Artyom Khachatryan (born in 1970), who had died on the spot.
It was found out that taxi driver Edmond K. (born in 1974) was the one who had hit Khachatryan with the vehicle he was driving.
After explanatory work by the police, Edmond K. came the police department and confessed to having committed the hit-and-run.
An investigation is underway into the incident.
