Strongly-worded anti-Semitic statements were made at a rally in the Nardaran settlement, Baku.
The APA News Agency reports that a certain Gaji Guseinov, who spoke at the rally, urged all the Muslims of the world, as well as Azerbaijanis, to unite against the U.S. and international Zionism. Gaji Nuri, in turn, stressed that the Nagorno-Karabakh problem is similar to the Palestinian conflict. He demanded immediate release of the persons detained for planning an action in front of the Israeli Embassy.
Chairman of the Unity Party Khudu Khudiev accused European states and the USA of hypocrisy. Gaji Veliev said he believes in the victory of Muslims worldwide.
The participants were chanting slogans “Death to USA!”, “Death to Israel!” and others. At the end they burned the national flags of Armenia, Israel, the USA and Great Britain, as well as an effigy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
