STEPANAKERT. – Prime Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR, or Artsakh), Arayik Haroutyunyan, paid a visit to the US State of Nevada and held several talks, the NKR government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

First, Haroutyunyan placed flowers to the Armenian Genocide monument, which was recently unveiled in Nevada, and underscored the international recognition and condemnation of this tragedy.

Next, the NKR PM met with Adroushan Andy Armenian, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Las Vegas, and several representatives of the local Armenian community.

Arayik Haroutyunyan also held talks with some lawmakers and local government representatives of Nevada. The Premier of Artsakh spoke about the latter’s accomplishments and challenges as well as the latest developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The parties discussed a number of matters of mutual interest and reached agreements on cooperation.

And at the reception held in his honor by the local Armenian community, the NKR PM stressed the active involvement of the Armenian diaspora in national issues.
