YEREVAN. – The information technology (IT) companies of Armenia need to jointly help the country’s economy.

General manager of the VivaCell-MTS company, Ralph Yirikian, told the aforementioned to reporters at Monday’s official launch of the newly-formed Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies (UEICT) of Armenia.

“Today, it’s impossible to conduct any business without computer programs and telecommunications,” Yirikian added. “For that reason, the importance of their diffusion should be seriously considered.”
