YEREVAN. - On the day of the referendum on constitutional amendments, the Armenian police will not allow crowding in polling stations. Armenia’s Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan stated the aforementioned during the operative consultation today.

According to him, on the day of the referendum, the police will pay special attention to the issue of helping people with disabilities.

“You’ll be responsible for helping, transporting, lifting and lowering, apparently except for the presence in the polling booth,” Gasparyan said.

He also said that it’s necessary to ensure high level of security both on the day of referendum and the days preceding it.
