YEREVAN. – The approval—by the Committee on Social Affairs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE)—of the report on Sarsang Reservoir—in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic—is just a result of the work by the Azerbaijanis’’ anti-Armenian campaign at PACE and the deputy group supporting their interests.

National Assembly (NA) of Armenia Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan, who also heads the NA delegation to PACE, on Tuesday told the aforesaid to reporters at Parliament.

In response to the query on why is it that the Armenian delegation to PACE fails to protect Armenian interests, Naghdalyan recalled that there have been times when they were able to consolidate their forces and neutralize threats and negative initiatives.

She stressed that they do not plan on boycotting the PACE January session, since this is not the best option to solve the problem.

“A boycott decision may be made solely when we see we don’t have other option,” Hermine Naghdalyan added. “We are going to work with all delegates, representatives of all countries.”
