Several hundred people on Tuesday assembled outside the Turkish embassy in Moscow, and protested Turkey for shooting down a Russian warplane.

The protesters held banners that read “Backstabbing,” “I’m not going to Turkey,” etc., and wore black ribbons on their arms, informed TASS news agency of Russia.

On the same day, the Turkish air force had shot down a Russian Su-24 attack aircraft/interdictor that was taking part in the antiterrorism operations in Syria.
