Intensification of cooperation between the Union of Armenians of Ukraine (UAU) and regional communities has become a priority for 2016. The aforementioned was stated in the final UAU conference presided by the UAU Chairman Vilen Shatvoryan. The activity of the UAU was summed up and key priorities for the next year were discussed at the conference, Analitikaua reports. 

At the outset of the conference, the congratulatory text of Ukraine’s PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk was read out. During the session, Shatvoryan positively assessed the work of the regional communities, announcing that the intensification of cooperation between the UAU and regional communities has become a key priority for 2016.

The event was attended by the heads of the regional communities, representatives of Ukrainian government – Deputy PM Vyacheslav Kyrylenko, Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, Chairman of Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service Viktor Nazarenko, MPs Nikolay Knyazhitskiy, Vadim Novinsky, -  representatives of Armenian Embassy in Ukraine, clergymen of the Ukrainian diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church and famous public figures.  

Discussion of vital issues, award-giving ceremony and a lot more is scheduled in the framework of the conference.
