The Russian-Turkish Research Center in Moscow has closed down, its website informed.

“The Ottoman language courses are terminated, and we cannot help the master’s and PhD students either,” the respective statement specifically reads, reported Lenta.ru, a Moscow-based online newspaper.

It is also noted that all scheduled roundtable discussions, lectures, and conferences are canceled plus the Turkish-language library fund as well as the Russian-language research fund of Turkey are inaccessible.

But nothing is said on the reason for this closure.
