Before the march, the rally speakers told the protestors to be careful and on guard, ignore provocations, walk together and help each other.

The march is led by the member of the Founding Parliament and opposition “Heritage” party leader Raffi Hovannisian. Large number of policemen follows the march.

The march participants are carrying with them Armenia flags and posters reading “Struggle is life, indifference is death,” and “Nation or scum.”

A group of rally members have stayed in the Liberty Square, as reported by Armenian News -NEWS.am correspondent.

Earlier, the movement turned to the Municipality of Yerevan requesting a permission to install tents in the Square, but the Municipality refused the application.

Following the march, the organizers are going to launch around-the-clock rallies in the Liberty Square.

The referendum on constitutional amendments will take place on December 6. Pursuant to the new draft Constitution, the country will make a transition from a semi-presidential to a parliamentary system of governance.
